A2A Transfers

Starting October 1st, Meijer Credit Union is pleased to offer A2A (Account-to-Account) transfers.  A2A allows you to transfer money between your Meijer Credit Union account and any accounts you hold with other financial institutions.  Once you have completed the necessary paperwork to get your accounts set up, you will be able to transfer money interchangeably between accounts online through It's ME 24/7, over the phone, and in person at our branch locations.  Imagine how much time you would save if you could do all of your banking at once!

Much like a wire transfer, A2A transfers allow you to securely transfer funds interchangeably with outside accounts.  Although not as immediate as a wire transfer, A2A is significantly less expensive!  A2A transfers only cost $3 to send funds to outside accounts and $3 to receive funds into your Meijer Credit Union account.  With this low-cost per transfer, A2A is often cheaper than driving to multiple financial insitutions.

In order to get started with A2A transfers, you must fill out an A2A request form.  If the form cannot be filled out in person in one of our branch locations, it must be notarized.

Because a member can utilize A2A for both debits and credits, they must provide either an account statement or a deposit slip proving they are an owner of the other account.  If the outside account is owned by an individual other than the MCU member, both parties must sign the authorization and, if not in the presence of an MCU employee, their signatures must be notarized.
