Meijer Credit Union is now pleased to offer an e-Signature solution for processing loans. Our new e-Signature solution allows members to verify their identity online by answering a series of questions designed specifically for them, thus creating an “electronic signature.” To get started with creating an e-Signature, you will first be asked to provide a few basic pieces of information in order to generate a list of multiple choice questions that are used to verify your identity. The questions used to verify your identity use "out-of-wallet" information that a fraudster could not obtain from a stolen wallet or credit report.
Electronic signatures streamline operations and eliminate both the need for paper handling, and the time and cost associated with document transportation. Using e-Signature means that if you prefer not to come to a branch location you can sign anywhere, at anytime, as long as you have access to the Internet. You can even sign loan documents from your smart phone!
