Your credit union is the best place for you and your money. Many people are facing unforeseen financial difficulties. We want you to know that we have solutions and want to help you during this difficult time. It is important to contact us immediately if you are concerned about being able to make your payment. We are here to help in these uncertain times. We are offering our members payment solutions, refinancing options, credit cards, Meijer Team Member loans, and outstanding member service. We want you to be confident that we are looking out for you and are constantly looking for ways to help. If you have questions, please feel free to give us call. Remember, most transactions can be performed with our mobile app or through online banking.
What to Expect on Your Next Branch Visit
Both MCU branches are open for business as of June 15, 2020.
Masks are required to enter a branch location per Executive Order 2020-147.
Our employees will be wearing masks.
You will notice floor markings and plexiglass dividers in the lobby. We may ask you to wait outside if there are too many people inside the lobby to maintain proper social distancing.
A disinfecting station will be available to obtain a mask (if you don't have your own) and use hand sanitizer.
A teller will invite you to the window to perform your transaction. We may ask you to remove your mask briefly so we can verify your identity.
We have implemented a regular cleaning schedule for all common areas to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
To protect our employees, members, and the community, please DO NOT come into the branch if:
You have been in close contact with a person who is ill with COVID-19.* OR You are currently experiencing a fever, cough, or shortness of breath.*
*Now or anytime in the past 14 days.
Economic Impact Payment Information
If you are looking for information about your Economic Impact Payment, visit our online banking site using your internet browser or visit the IRS website to track your payment.
Updated Skip-A-Pay Program
Our Skip-A-Pay program has been updated to allow you to apply for more than one Skip-A-Pays for each loan in a 12 month period.
There is a $35 fee for Skip-A-Pay. Please note that interest will continue to accrue on your loan throughout the month of the skipped payment. Also, the skipped payment will be added to the end of the loan thereby extending the loan. Loan secured by real estate are not eligible for this program.

Visit your online banking to apply for skip-a-pay. Click on the the SP icon next to your payment amount for more information. Secured and unsecured loans are eligible for the program. For information about home equity loans and mortgages see details below.

Payment Solutions for Home Equity Loans and Mortgages
If you have a home equity loan or a mortgage with Meijer Credit Union and need assistance we may have a solution. One option is to postpone payments with forbearance so your account can stay in good standing and some of the financial pressure can be relieved during this difficult time.
